Enemy Of Love

The greatest enemy of Love isn't Hate. It's Indifference.

Hate says: Your EXISTENCE riles me; YOU MATTER to me in a most repugnant kind of way.

Indifference says: Sorry, what is damola? A place or a thing?

Okay, that's a mild way of saying "you DON'T EXIST". "You could as well be the ram that just bleated past my window".

Now, on why I love Hate and hate Indifference:

Hate propels you out of a toxic relationship. You just can't stand what you can't stand. It's as simple as that.

Indifference though, that bastard is something else entirely. It keeps you in a relationship (romantic, platonic or whatever) in which you believe at least you aren't hurting each other, meanwhile you both are snuffing the existence out of each other. You may call that LEGAL HOMICIDE if you like.

Unfortunately, by the time you finally decide to quit, you would have mastered the art of coldness, of being unfeeling, of being inhumane.

And by then you are really DEAD. #Deadasadodo.

Because, really, of what use is an inhumane being in a human world?

One of the strongest reasons many children of God turn away from Him is that they are embarrassed about how often they go back to rededicate their lives after falling into the same sin again and again. They then conclude that this "born-again Christian" life is not for them after all. Truly, it is not easy to be all prim and proper at all times — never to be caught exchanging angry words with annoying folks online, never to be seen having marital issues, never to be caught in a white lie. Went shopping for a washing machine with my uncle the other day. He'd offered to accompany me because my preferred brand was quite scarce.  On getting to the first store, we discovered the price was above my budget for that product and so we had to leave. We went to another store but the prices were even higher, so we returned to the first. "Welcome back, oga ," I heard the manager say as we arrived. Then he proceeded to ask my uncle what our final decision concerning the product we'd priced earlier was.
